The toughest lesson for today's parent to teach is FOLLOW THE RULE
Break the barriers, break the boundaries - is the constant mantra. Then how can we stick to rules ? How can progress happen if we don't break these rules ??
And so we happily find every occasion to break a rule.
The best examples of this are to be seen on the streets. Wherever possible we take the wrong side to save on time and precious petrol with little heed to that stupid pedestrian or the rule that says it is a one way street. Where a left turn means going further down and traversing double the distance to reach the bus stop, you will find every mother (not to speak of some fathers too) - whether on a two wheeler or in a car - zooming down the wrong side. After all, who is to catch them and question them ?
